ICTC relies on CAERI to establish the intelligent connected system test scene framework according to the latest industry standard trend, bases on China's large-scale natural driving data, standards and regulations, traffic accident data, functional failure and other multi-source data, combines with the function definition and test requirements of different level automatic driving system in perception, location, decision-making, control, HMI and so on to build a China typical driving scene database applicable for algorithm development, performance test and regulatory certification of self-driving system.
Based on the research result of i-VISTA International Joint Research Center - 1 million km natural driving data, combined with big data analysis technology, it is aimed to build a natural driving scene database covering typical road types such as expressway, urban express way, urban road, suburban road and weather types such as sunny, cloudy, rainy, foggy and snowy in China.
The Defective Product Management Center of State Administration for Market Regulation and China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. has jointly carried out the traffic accident scene research. Based on the scene building tool chain of ICTC, the automatic transformation from NAIS accident data to automatic driving test accident scene files has been realized, and a scene database of more than 1,000 NAIS real Chinese road accidents has been built.
Based on the latest research progress of the expected functional safety standard, the focus is laid on mining the edge scenes and dangerous scenes of the failure of the intelligent connected vehicle. With the results of the expected functional safety working group of China intelligent connected vehicle industry innovation alliance (CAICV-SOTIF) as the foundation, the domestically first expected functional safety scene database has been built.
